…DESCRIBES MADUMERE AS OKOROCHA'S DIVINE HELPER

The Anglican Arch Deacon, Ven. Dr. Sunday Iherue has described the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha as a leader sent by God whose mission will later be appreciated after he would have left office.

Ven. Iherue drew this conclusion while delivering a sermon in the Chapel of Praise, Anglican Communion, Lake Malinda, Achi, Ezi-Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State.

The vicar narrated the history of leaders with special gifts, who were sent to the people to accomplish specific tasks at a particular point in time, adding that their importance may not be realized until they are long gone.

He therefore urged the public to develop the temperament for patience so as to enable them have a balanced and holistic analysis of the impacts of the programmes and policies of every administration.

While acknowledging that leaders as humans have their shortcomings, he insisted that every leader must have one legacy for which he will remembered.

In the same vein, Ven. Iherue described the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere as a divine helper to Governor Okorocha.

In his sermon titled, ‘God Will Send a Divine Helper to You’, the Church of Nigeria Anglican Priest described Okorocha’s meeting with Imo Deputy Governor as Divine. He described the Deputy Governor as a divine suitable helper to Governor Okorocha whose success story cannot be told without his relationship with Madumere’s always being beside him to add value.

Reading from the book of John chapter 5 verses 1 to 18, he narrated a story about a man with infirmities for 38 years at the pool of Bethesda but had no one to help him. He said God came his way, healed him and made him whole. Reading from Genesis chapter 2 verse18, he said, like God promised helper suitable for man, so also will he bring a suitable helper to anyone who believes in Him in all situations.

He therefore called on the people to pray fervently for them to identify God sent helpers when they come their way so as not to carelessly lose them.

Among those present during the Church service were Sir Temple Ogueri Onyeukwu, Principal Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Hon Ifenayi Nnataraonye of Imo State House of Assembly, Nze Obinna Aharanwa, Barr.
